Van Drew Receives NJ AFL-CIO Endorsement

(Northfield) – This week, State Senator Jeff Van Drew received the endorsement of the NJ AFL-CIO for his campaign for the 2nd congressional district. The NJ AFL-CIO represents more than 1,000 labor unions and more than 1 million members and their families across the state of New Jersey.

“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the NJ AFL-CIO,” said Jeff Van Drew. “Organized labor is the backbone of our economy, and they have always been at the forefront of creating good, middle-class jobs. I’m proud to work with the AFL-CIO to grow our economy and ensure that workers in South Jersey have access to opportunity and fair wages. As a State Senator, I’ve always stood by organized labor, and I will continue to fight for our workers and middle-class families in Congress.

Jeff Van Drew is a practicing dentist from Dennis Township, and is the State Senator for New Jersey’s 1st Legislative District. Van Drew is running for congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, which includes all or parts of New Jersey’s eight southernmost counties.
